Meet Johnstown Pointe’s August Resident of the Month, Barbara Pittenger!

Barbara Pittenger, also known as Babs, Barbie, Barb, and BB, was born and raised in New Albany, Ohio. When she was a child, she wanted to be a nurse when she grew up because her father was a doctor and she always wanted to help him. So after high school, she followed her passion and attended Capital University to later on receive her BSN.



Barb is in a happy marriage of 43 years, and they are about to celebrate their anniversary! Barb and her husband, Robert, have two children together, John and Emily, who are both married and have one child and one on the way. Oh, and we couldn't forget to include Seven, their adorable poodle! On Saturdays, Barb enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, Jubilee, and grandson, Clayton. They love to go shopping, play computer games, and listen to music together.
